The Computer Science for All (CSforAll) program introduces computer science programming to students through the use of software, such as Scratch/ScratchJr and the CoCo platform, to facilitate learning how to code and to cultivate student ability to think creatively. RISE has partnered with PI’s at University of Alabama and George Mason University to evaluate the program. The intention of this evaluation of the program was to gather the beliefs and experiences of teachers who implemented the program with their students to make improvements to and gain an understanding of the challenges encountered in the program. The inter-institutional collaboration and multi-school sample of teachers provides a glimpse into the similarities and differences among districts within the program.
